Nevus of Ito

Clinical features Nevus of Ito is a very rare condition characterized by unilateral slate blue macular pigmentation in the region supplied by the posterior supraclavicular and lateral brachial cutaneous nerves (Fig. 25.223).1 There may occasionally be a coexistent nevus of Ota2โ€“4,5 hypopigmentations along Blaschko lines (nevus depigmentosus), and associated Sturge-Weber syndrome.6,7 Exceptionally, malignant transformation has been documented (see malignant blue nevus).8โ€“10
