白毛結節菌病 (trichosporosis)
臨床特徵 (Clinical Features)
- 由 Trichosporon beigelii 所引起的白毛結節菌病 (trichosporosis)，在印度是一種常見的生殖股部 (genitocrural) 與肛周 (perianal) 間擦疹 (intertrigo)。
- 主要症狀為搔癢 (itching) 及/或灼熱感 (burning)。
- 鱗屑性丘疹 (scaly papules) 可伴隨此間擦疹出現。
- 可能合併存在皮癬菌 (dermatophyte)、Candida、trichomycosis 與 erythrasma 感染。
- 感染極少發生於其他部位，包括頭皮 (scalp)。
組織病理特徵 (Histopathology)
- 此感染侵犯毛髮 (hairs)，但不侵犯周圍皮膚。
- 毛幹 (hair shafts) 的顯微鏡檢查顯示大小不一、白色或棕色的柔軟結節 (soft nodules)，且容易被移除。
- 診斷可藉由 KOH 製片以辨識大小不等的關節孢子 (arthrospores) 而懷疑之，並以培養 (culture) 確認。
