• Langerhans (L) group of histiocytosis 的原型 (prototype) 即為 LCH（Langerhans cell histiocytosis）。
• LCH 與 indeterminate cell histiocytosis 並列同一群，兩者共享許多形態學 (morphological) 與免疫表型 (immunophenotypic) 特徵。
• 本群亦納入 ECD（Erdheim-Chester disease），因其表現出許多相似的基因異常 (genetic abnormalities)。
