Sun nevus
Clinical features Sun nevus is an acquired nevus of Ota (nevus of Ota acquisita) and has been described in Chinese and Japanese patients.1โ3
Histologic features The features are identical to those of nevus of Ota.
Nevus of Ota is associated with GNAQ and GNA11 mutations in a subset of the lesions.28โ30 BRAF mutations have also been reported, albeit less frequently.31
