Mesonephric cyst

Clinical features This lesion presents in the lateral part of the vulva as a small, asymptomatic, blue-red cystic lesion containing clear fluid. It is thought to be derived from remnants of the mesonephric duct. Simple excision is curative.

Histologic features The cyst is lined by a single layer of cuboidal or columnar nonciliated cells surrounded by a layer of smooth muscle.1
