The pathological role of the mite Demodex folliculorum in human cutaneous diseases such as rosacea is controversial. However, Hwang etโฏal.1 have described a man with a long-standing pruritic eruption of multiple, monomorphic, match-head sized, flesh-colored papules on the penis and scrotum. Histology demonstrated intrafollicular mites and the patient was cured with topical crotamiton.
